DRAGON BALL® Z: ATTACK OF THE SAIYANS GOES GOLD

Relive the Epic Dragon Ball Z Experience as an RPG Exclusively for Nintendo DS™

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (Oct. 7, 2009) – Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., announced today that Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans, exclusively for Nintendo DS™, has gone gold. Based on the most popular anime series of all time, Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans is a brand new role-playing adventure where players battle as Goku® and his Earth Defense Force allies to save the world from Vegeta® and the threatening Saiyan enemies. Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans will be available nationwide on November 10, 2009.

For the first time in North America, fans can enjoy the beloved Dragon Ball Z series from a new perspective in this epic turn-based RPG. Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans follows the events of the original Dragon Ball Z story from the World Tournament and Goku’s triumphant defeat of Piccolo through the Vegeta saga. The game also includes exclusive content that has never before been seen in the anime or manga series.

Based on a three-party system, players choose from Goku and his friends, using their signature martial arts skills to tackle foes. Players navigate a vast world map with varied locales as they encounter enemies, find treasures and destroy obstacles using targeted Ki Blasts. As the game progresses, characters build experience, become stronger and earn powerful new skills and attacks. A barrage of attacks are available including Ultimate Skills, Super Attacks and all new team-based “Sparking Combos” that combine the awesome might of each party member to inflict massive damage onto enemies.

Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans for Nintendo DS is rated “E10+” for everyone 10 and older by the ESRB with an MSRP of $29.99. For more information about the game, please visit www.namcobandaigames.com.
