TITLE: Assistant Producer

REPORTS TO:
ASSISTANT PRODUCER
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
· To assist in the direction of the development of external products.
· To assist management in the scheduling of components to help produce top quality product on time and within budget.
· Provide assistance to the External Development department for assigned day to day production needs.
· Assist in communication channels between the department and external development teams.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Carry out all assigned tasks within deadlines determined by the Senior Producer or Management.
· Assist in coordinating and monitoring external resources, including: cinematic, music, and contractors.
· Assist in producing project schedules and tracking reports.
· Assist in reviewing and evaluating milestone deliverables from external developers.
· Assist in representing products at press events and online interviews.
· Coordinate and track loaned R&D equipment and purchase orders.
· Review and evaluate competitive products as requested.
· Monitor the QA database and assist in determining fix lists and QA plans with the QA Lead(s).
· Department logistics and setup assistance as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Level of formal education:
· Associate Degree or equivalent with relevant coursework.
Technical training or specialized course work:
· Technical and industry specific training and courses to keep knowledge current.
· Course in project management a plus
Prior direct or relevant experience:
· Minimum 3 years experience in gaming industry.
· Has clearly demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate diverse functions and groups of people.
· Background in art, design, programming, and/or QA also helpful
· Successful track record of important contributions to successful titles.
Specialized knowledge or expertise:
· Strong knowledge of major consumer-based console systems.
· Knowledge of past, current and new games and their technology.
