It has come to our attention that some individuals may have received a fraudulent “Award Notification” letter from a company calling itself “Business Financial Agencies” in Canada, which claims the recipients have been declared “winners” in an international prize pool.  Enclosed, with this letter, is a check supposedly from “Namco Bandai Games America Inc.”

Both the check and Canadian company are a FRAUD.  This company is in no way affiliated with NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., located in Santa Clara, CA.

DO NOT DEPOSIT THE CHECK!!!!

The check is a forgery and an instrument in a foreign lottery SCAM.  If you deposit this check, as instructed, you will lose any money you send to them.  NAMCO BANDAI Games America has notified all the appropriate authorities as it pertains to this scam.

Should you receive this letter and check, notify your local postmaster, the CA Better Business Bureau, PhoneBusters (Canada) and RECOL.CA.
