Soul Calibur V practical DLC ideas

Post by apigonafarm » Tue Mar 13, 2012 10:48 pm

Okay so this is overdone i know but i havent seen anybody put real initiative ideas into this so here i go...
First off Talim Zasalamel yun seung and amys styles need to return. All dlc styles can be placed for character creation in that space that random usually is; u just select it and voila, a list of dlc characters.
So to organize
DLC1: talim with custom reation items to make her
DLC2:Zasalemel with custom creation items to make him
Ect ect.
Then another thing was for some reason most of the totally awesome armor was taken out... Maybe for marketing to sell as dlc later but idk, all i know is i want it back. For example, half the demonic set was taken out... That was some cool armor why remove some of it? Actually i think it was just the gloves but i digress. Next point being, why was so much of the customization of soul calibur III taken out? That was probably(when it came to items) the most vast creation mode. R.I.P."unholy armor"... Also so much hair was taken out from it. And what happened to having a hood without a cape???? Also i think that we should be able to create some skeletons. Make it so one of the faces is a skull and what it does is just turn ur whole person to a skeleton. Or even easier now since there are the initial body types, add a skeleton body type. And maybe a lizard too.
Going back to styles, i really enjoyed the more unique custom character styles of scIII like the lance, greive edge, katana and shuriken and knife and bomb. I definately think those should have a reapearance. Also i think that there should be some auras you can put on your person to make them simply look awesome. Or at least an accesory that u can stick on their head or chest or foot or somethin.
For the most part though, Soul Calibur V is a great game, i play it almost everyday as i did all the other ones and i can honestly say its ny favorite fighting game, its definately the most balanced of all of them character-wise and has some pretty unique styles and characters.

P.s. i think it would be super cool to have a person who uses some sort of bladed bow... Like a bow that has blades on the outer edge so its a mix of tira and ezio sort of just has more to do with arrows. Just a neat idea i toy with in my mind...
Thanks for reading!

They have been listening to the fans, there is a re-balance patch coming up for free. Hopefully they will also add what we been asking for, and my guess is either they already have it planned even before release and that is why they have not replied about the manner or because it is a tedious long time taking issues which they will reply once they have something to show for. Anyways hope they get all them extra fighting stiles and items and maybe old modes so we can go crazy with the game. I will not say it is my Fav fighting game yet, has solid game play, music and solid character creator, it has crappy story line and lack of modes, endings and variety in characters and styles(but with a few DLCs....).

hence why i don't buy preoder editions if i don't trust but REALLY trust the talent and dedication of the dev.
uncharted 4 for example will be a preorder for me. but a fighting game.....

no game from namco is and was wworth to me risking all that money.
new chars NO STORY?? they just appear like that? i cheked on youtube the story mode is a travesty!
after souledge i never was interested in any soul game.
im still very bitter about the way they nerfed steve from teken 4 and didnot make the speed of everyone match his.
i LIKED steve in tekken 4 he really felt like a real boxer. i like tekken 5 and its gameplay but ....nerfed steve....

lets get back to the soul games. why .... why create a new char when rock has a son? there is close to no story on this char and yet they didn't
anyway my ramblings do not make sense to a lot of people so i'll stop.

How about a second Bridal Costume set with a floor-length gown and a veil? The first Bridal Costume set was very awesome and well worth downloading. This may sound rather crazy, but the Bridal Costumes were my main reason for buying the game.
