i agree with blastburn. the trans. look so bland and boring. all characters need a unique exactly like the show animation rivaling narutos trans and a real time trans animation like we see in the ANIME not like rb2. its done backwards. even super dbz looked and felt more exciting when transforming. gokus ss transforming animations are frieza and the andriod or pikkon quick transformation. i want hair rising, eyes changes, aura exploding transformations. ss3 should be a speed up but detailed version from the show.

Still the dreamer I see. I'd argue but it would be a futile effort on my part.

I also fail to see why Naruto's transformations can be called "necessary" and dbz ones aren't on higher reguard, when in comparison, they actually do transform were as naruto mostly has power ups, nether the less with unique animation mirroring the anime based on how it was intended to be done. RB's style or BT3's style seems lazy for the SSjs just to be a visual loading screen of them silently bobbling up and down especially with how long we have to wait.

The argument "mastering the form" is irrelevent, the moves like Byakugan and curse marks still have mimicked animations even though after the first time preformed they were quick.

Its just something about Ninja storm that gives it a presentation advantage over RB but can't put my tounge on it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OflEI_7ojj8 (1:33 / 4:14) I'm sure this was only done once, but still used anyway, what does it matter the motive of the transformations if its a game? I'm sure when most people play it and make the change, they want to replay it like the anime, but the only change truly like the anime is Freeza an Buu's. Gohan wouldn't bend backward if it was his mastered transformation, nor would goku hunch over. They changes were all quick after the form was shown, it's obvious that they are all representing the first time achieved as some said earlier.

and you seem to believe spike can't do it, as if it's impossible.

The awakening transformations in UNS2 are pretty quick as well, they show a bit more becuase they're more physical. Also, Gohan (teen) never really "mastered" SSJ2, if you don't count the movie, he only transformed once which puts him into a similar situation to Frieza and Cooler. You don't see Goku's SSJ transformation attempting to mimic his first time.

Not impossible, just not likely. Not to mention that the game has a ton of other issues that need to be fixed first, but of course people like you and Kbrooks think that these are supposed to be game of the year contenders with huge budgets, and the sky's the limit in terms of what you can ask for. But then again I base my views on what I see in the games and how they change from sequel to sequel rather than thinking that just becuase it can be done, it needs to be done and it can be done within the constraints during development time, only to find out that they weren't done and whining about it, while looking forward to the next game. Basically setting yourselves up for disappointment each year instead of trying to base your suggestions and expectations in reality which is what I try to do.

And whats wrong with the physical involvement with the transformation?
are you saying this would be any different then how awakenings are in NS? because I don't see it.

The only "detail" in those transformation are the few seconds that consist of him absorbing the androids, the actual transformation is instantaneous.

mystic its no where near impossible. they've done it in storymode, give us better detail. thats really not alot to ask. i'm sick of the generic argument. transforming animations suck. period.....if it is a new game do them justice. i can name tons of dbz games with exciting transforming animations. super dbz, sagas, legacy of goku, etc. so your point really isn't valid. imo all transforming animations suck. same goes 4 the physics system. they are missing key dbz features from the start. of the games going to suck.
