Namco Generations

Post by Isildur » Tue Nov 23, 2010 2:59 pm

I made his thread a couple of days ago in the Game Chat forum...and maybe it wasn't the best place to put it

I just want to congratulate Namco Bandai for this.
I was hoping for a long time for someone to create a brand for remakes and re-imagines of old games, so, i'm extremely happy for this.
Keep it up!

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is amazing.
The only suggestion i make is to release a patch or DLC where we can play the games of old as they were, not only in CE DX mode.
Don't get me wrong, is great, but i would love to play the old Pac-Man and Miss Pac-Man and Pac-Mania.
Even put old pac-man games, like PacLand.
Make it the definitive Pac-Man collection

And i'm really glad to know that two more games are on the way, Galaga Legions DX and Aero-Cross (sequel and re-imaging to Metro-Cross).

Don't let this brand die, there are amazing games that really deserve a remake / re-imagine like, Dig Dug, Xevious, The Tower of Druaga, Splatterhouse (the original games), Rolling Thunder....
In all the games, always give the chance to play the original game as well, because it's fun and nostalgic.

Who knows? Maybe later this year. Then again, Namco's not exactly honest with their release dates.
