I'm not for anything, but Namco (at least another division) created a Filipino fighter for Soul Calibur. I'm hoping Tekken picks up that idea! Another weapon-user (Eskrima) would be really good, since Tekken's somewhat incorporating weapons for TTT2 (just hope they're easy to pull off). Or just crossover Talim! I wouldn't mind! I bet Harada saw how many Filipinos are very dedicated to the series when he visited the country when they held a tourney last year (at least from the video I saw)

Story: "For years Suru Mishima, cousin to Heihachi Mishima, received invitations to compete in the King of Iron Fist. For years he declined.

From his small, remote dojo in Okinawa Suru taught his few students the martial art of his family keeping his distance from the kin that inexorably sought power over peace. The lessons of his uncle, Jinpachi, were all but dead.

When the invitation for Iron Fist 7 arrived, Suru immediately dismissed the idea.

A few days later, a traveler entered the grounds announcing herself as Asuka Kazama. Asuka told the sensei about Kazuya and Jin's battle with Devil and pleaded with Suru vehemently, begging him to enter the tournament. She wanted to help her brother but she believed that she was not strong enough to do it alone.

In order to restore honor to the Mishima name, first the evil must be purged from the blood.

Suru accepted Asuka's offer and departed that night for Iron Fist 7."

Misc: People are probably tired of Mishimas but if it were my game to make, Suru would do as his name implies: to amend. He'd seek to right the wrongs of Heihachi and the others, forging an alliance with the Kazamas to ensure victory. His fighting would cross real-life karate and the Mishima art with the trademark lightning. Suru wouldn't have the speed of the other Mishimas but his Naha-te karate moves would serve as quick pokes and setups for the powerful Mishima-style moves.
