Just a place to ask for help.


My questions:
Thankyou for the people who would answer them.

1. Could you teach me the acronyms. I see WS, JF, etc.

2. In Quick match you can see the total wins and loss in Records. Is it possible to see individual wins and loss against the oppenents or is the only way of seeing it is to fight them first before seeing it?

3. Could you tell me how the online play works? Are the top tiers only banned in tournaments, meaning they can still be used in online play?

It would be good if you could state which game you're talking about, though it looks like BD.

3. People are likely to complain if you abuse top tiers too much online but nobody can stop you. Only tournaments have rules like that.

Learning all of those rules get you into the real thing (for the fighting issues).

2) I don't quite get it, but in Quick match (in SCBD, right?) only after beating an opponent you can see your overall records (total matches, wins, loses, consecutive wins) and your records against the opponent (wins, loses). Also you can see your opponent's records (that actually remain the same) before and after the battle.

3) Well, in online playing you can use whoever character you want. Unless you and your friends make a small tournament for your pleasure and create rules that ban some characters... The official tournaments are something like "big events", where many people from all over the world can participate. In order to balance some stuff the hosts with the help of the players create some rules, in order to avoid unfair wins-loses. For example, low tier characters oppose low tier characters and the same happens with the rest stuff. Now Hilde and Algol are banned from the tourneys as they are extremely powerful and can be rarely beaten by the top tier characters (considering both players are experts)... But considering little online battles, these rules are not used...

Like Olcadan could have 500 wins and 16 loss. While my matches with hims is that Olcadan has 32 wins and 16 loss.

Hmm... well, first of all you have to be popular among players in order to host a tourney... Then, hmm... I believe that you have to know some rules, the basic stuff and weaknesses of the game, in order to form the rules of the tourney... You must find a place to host the tourney and of course you must own a PS3, SC (or whatever game you want) and you must create a friendly atmosphere. Last, but not least, you must motivate the players to participate. For example, you could give a prize to the one who will beat the other players.
