But Algol's one player difficulty goes up higher on BD until he's insanely tough.

Algol in SCBD was too easy for me in the Gauntlet, plus I was using Xianghua who is my tertiary character.
In the first mode, where you have to get all of the titles, I beat him in my second try with Sieg.
In SCIV, in the Tower of Lost Souls, he was difficult for me. I beat him in my 8th or 10th trial, with 3 powerful Siegs...
Algol SCIV>Algol SCBD (in terms of strength). So, he is more balanced in SCBD.

In Quick Match, my score with Inferno that's Hilde style is 16-10. And that's suppose to be the 3rd best acording to the list.

Well some of the chars can execute easier a ring out than others...

As for the tourneys, the are mostly held in the USA...

It is more popular in USA than anywhere else, that's for sure. This is the reason most of us took SCV for granded. However Tekken is the worldwide popular Namco game, specially in Japan.
The game is made in Japan, but as there are English voiceovers, the game gets its English edits in USA, I believe...

Actually the SC director now is Mr. Harada. But I believe that he is not fully responsible for it. Anyway they need to see if people want this game, as they don't want to lose more money.....
