Why Xenosaga is not one of Namco games

Hi guys , this is my second post .
I heard rumors about Xenosaga for not being a namco company game .
Is that right ?
if it's right then i think namco lost it's one of best RPG games , i don't know you guys agree or not but that was my opinion .
