Ace Combat Tips, Tricks, and Help

Pretty much the name says it all. If you need help with a level ask here. If you know of tricks then post them here. And tips that are helpful to all post them here.

Let's start with a basic question:
How can I lose a missile without losing too much altitude?
Pilot: Missiles dry! Going Fox-4!

You mean that if you wanted to fire XAGM at a site but the AAA and SAMs were heavy? Well you really can't unless you can't unless you want to use LAGM or LASM. And how high of an Altitude are we taliking of?

I was unclear. If I have a missile being fired at me, how can I get rid of it without losing too much altitude?

well first id watch ur radar to see how close it is, if its kinda close u can either pull a turn and hit the breaks, or for AC6 pull a high g turn to evade. high g turns are done by pulling both triggers at the same time with the regular 360 controler. i could go into alot more detail on tons of ways to loose em but that shuld anser ur question exactly

In ACZ, if you fired rockets (a SP weapons) and then turn, the missile actually might follow the rockets! I tried it and it worked. Its hard to believe it, but its true. Don't know about the other AC games though.

Easier than I thought.

Anyway if you wanted to evade either pull up or left or right or the rocket trick which I learned by mistake in the J 35!

How do you buy different aircraft? I'm on the 4th or 5th mission and there are no aircraft available for purchase.....is there a special power that i need to purchase new planes or what? Please help!
