Namco's Mistake

Dear Namco,

Ever since your first release of Katamari Damacy, I was excited. I purchased the game and instantly became a huge fan of the game and what it had to offer.
I am to this day a huge fan of the games. I have all three of the games (Katamari Damacy, We Love Katamari, and Me and My Katamari). And that brings me to my reason of posting this thread.
When I discovered that Beautiful Katamari will not be avalible for Playstation 3, I was...well...disapointed. Not becuase the fact that I do not have a Xbox 360, but the fact that after three years of playing and supporting the Katamari series Namco, you make the new instalment of the series a Xbox 360 "exclusive".
What bothers me is that after three years of playing supporting and frankly...realy enjoying the games. Namco you dicided to just...basically ditch me and the other millions of Katmari fans. Katamari probally wouldn't be where its at right now with out "us" Playstation/Katamari fans.
I dont mind that the game is on the Xbox 360, its just that you make it so that the original millions of fans who got the game to where its at today cannot get it becuase most of them do not have Xbox 360's. I was realy disappointed after three years of playing and supporting the series your ditch the console and fans who "made" your game.

So I think that on behalf of me and the millions of fans that supported Katamari and Namco. We are dissapointed and frankly...upset that our beloved and one of our favorite games will not be avilble to us...the same exact fans that got the series to where its at today. I hope that Namco realizes the mistake that they made with there decision on "exclusivly" releasing the game on Xbox 360.
For whatever reason they have, weither it be the Playstation 3's sales or whatever their reason may be.
Namco you have abandoned a huge majority of your original fans and supporters, you left us behind. We hope that you relize this mistake becuase frankly...it's your loss Namco, your fans you left behind, the same fans that got Katamari to where it's at today.


Namco, on behalf of me and the fans of Katamari Damacy, we hope that down the line you do infact do release Beautiful Katamari for the Playstation 3, and if not that, then the next instalment of the Katamari series for the Playstation 3 console.

I was really disappointed to hear this news and quite frankly, still can not believe it. The missus loved the katamari games and made sure to purchase all of them, even buying a PSP just to get the latest one. And now this?

I invested in a PS3 for many of the upcoming titles, especially this one. There's no way i would buy a 360 just for this, especially with the ire of a dead console hanging above it.

Please reconsider Namco, We built the franchise on the Sony system and we would like to keep it strong!

Ya man well said.

Just some integrity and support for us, the fans would be nice, I meen its not like the PlayStation 3 is a bad console or something. Just didnt launch as well as everyone expected it to. And when it doest start to become more popular and soon become a very comon console whitch it will very soon.
I hope namco will reconsider there series to continue on the PlayStation console,
Its only fair for us the fans.

I for one would like to see Katamari games on all three of the new consoles. I was really hoping that there would be PS3 and Wii Katamari games that took advantage of motion sensing.

Ya, it would be nice to see the game on all the consoles to widen t he games and fans.
But Namco completly takes the series from there fans.

I was disapointed in all the exlusive Bandai Namco releases resently, I mean it's a Japanese base company, the 360 is oddly not as popular in Japan so why so many exlusives for games which are also popular in Japan?

Namco is getting on my dislike list almost as much as Microsoft for doing everything to make more money *hisses at directx 10 for Vista only* Where as Sony has done a good number of things to make my gaming expence much less than it should of been. Including controller adapters so I didn't have to buy more PS3 controllers, I saved over half what a PS3 controller would cost for each adapter and removeable/replaceable harddrives which are compatable with almost any brand of harddrive that is SATA compatable, which are pretty cheap compared to the 360 harddrives which only work on the 360.

The fact that they abandon a console that is better for the buyer and customer
alot more freedom and capabilities then the 360
To a console and company that charges there customers for every possible freature.

Including XBox Live, HDD, cords up the kazoo, harddrives, high failure rate and very high uncompatability rate with older XBox games, and game prices nearly the same as the PS3 on average.

OVer all expense on many XBox users has been calculated by some to be nearly 800-1000 dollars each games not included the first year of owner ship. My brother is stuck paying for internet and XBox Live, he spent a lot of money just to update his 360 just to see how many of his XBox games would work on it, and guess what none of the ones that didn't work before worked after the updates.

But now he gloats about being able to play 360 online, when i've enver gloated about my PC games being better than most of his 360 games online, I just know my PC games are better in fact I can download custom content by fans IE textures and such making my version of the game far more personal, and yet still get a high speed gaming experiance without two online fees, and yet plug my PS3 in as well and have two gaming platforms all while only paying 1 online fee for my basic cable internet. hehe

Exacly
People always brag about 360's LIVE, and what i dont understand is that there braging about an internet connection for there games, ontop of that most of the good games that are worth playing on LIVE for..ARE FOR PC!
And not only are they chargin u money everymonth for there internet..you have to pay for Your internet also.
With PlayStation 3, you dont pay for anything, and u get TONS of features,internet browser, soon to be DVR and free tv, free and cheap downloads of older playstion products.
Just over all a more friendly console for its features.
