The IRIAF F-14s (with ruski stuff, AL-31 engines, HAWK SAMs as AAMs, etc.) are the only respect I hold for Iran.

I hate politicians. They don't even know what a Cessna looks like, and yet they decide as they please to choose which planes will remain in service. All they are good for in my opinion is to squawk at each other over pointless reasons.

They are the reason the Concord along with many other planes aren't in service anymore. Their excuse for the Concord was so called 'safety reasons'.

What I hate more is that they took part in the F-14's decommission too.

hi all im new here.and on other subjects i agree it shouldent be the politicians who deside the f 14 fate but the pilots who fly them.

In case y'all didn't know, many politicians are hypocrites and rotten, but there are some that are, believe it or not, good politicians that actually benefit society, so don't go stereotyping or using generalizations. I suppose I'm the only one (so far) who admits to liking the Super Hornet... I think it's a cool plane. I personally don't "love" the F-14 but I still respect it. I'm more of a single seat junkie .
