Again though, not really a problem for the plane's design, just the software, which they should be able to fix no problem. All software has its bugs that need to be fixed through trial and error. There are several examples of planes crashing because of stuff like this... like that Airbus auto-landing crash off the top of my head. Today it's a proven aircraft and autopilot feature.

And as for canopy jam, big deal. At least you won't need to get out of the plane in combat. And I doubt you'll need to eject. Maybe pilots should have a chainsaw as standard procedure for bail out until the problem is worked out.

Eh... That's nothing like an F-22. It's planform is completely different.

The only thing they share is the idea of stealth.

It's kinda like saying the Eurofighter Typhoon is a rip-off of an F-15.
