Constantly being logged out.

Is there a reason why every time I reply to a topic or add a new one, I get logged out and have to log in again?

Is this some type of security issue on my browser or a problem with this forum? I have never dealt with this on other forums before?

Does anyone else experience this?

It's a cookie and forum issue. It can be quite annoying, but there's a temp way to get that fixed:

When you're at the forum homepage, log-in (if you aren't already), and then set a bookmark of the URL you have of the forum's homepage while logged in. If you notice, it'll be the standard http://www.namcobandaigames.com/community, along with a further string of letters. That's your custom URL that works with the cookies to get you logged in, so bookmarking that and using that bookmark on the forum to get here should bypass the log in and avoid doing that every time you want to post or navigate away from the forum.


It is quite an annoying problem. Basically the forum has an error in which it doesn't redirect to the correct URL once detecting the cookies settings. So it knows who you are, but doesn't send you to the proper URL that you should have while signed in, so you stay signed out. Anyway, using a bookmark to get here should bypass that problem until it gets fixed. Think of it as your quick Log-In bookmark.

I think we may have to bring this up again since it has been almost a year now that it hasnt worked.

I will try the work around, however, this problem should not be going on for as long as it has.
