Let us all face it : Namco Bandai North America does not give a **** about us Canadians.

anyone here know any 3rd party website that can get us the NA version of the game?

I've thought of buying the EU wiz edition + used NA Ni no Kuni game, Probably the gonna cost $170 - $180+ Then again, I don't like seeing the "pegi" label in any of my games here.

Here's a 3rd party website here: http://www.hopshopgo.com/hsg/home.do?l=en&c=

Hello, I'm new to these forums and I've joined with the sole purpose of expressing my frustration that the collector's edition of the game isn't available to Canada. Is there some logical reason why they decided to cut out a neighboring country with lots of people that want to buy their product? I live no more than an hour's drive from the border but they won't ship to me.

Count me in as one more frustrated Canadian who joined this forum just to vent.

If you're not going to allow us to order, DON'T CALL THIS A NORTH AMERICAN RELEASE!!!!

Completely insulting to your fans. I've been buying your games since the eighties, Namco!!!

Is this because of the French packaging thing? We don't care!!! Just give us the option to order online, no need for retail!

I am really pleased to see alot of my fellow Canadians voicing their opinion regarding the matter. The principle of fairness must prevail in this instance.

In this day and age, I find it quite puzzling as to what prevents corporations in the United States from shipping items to Canada. Our postal service is equal to if not better than that of the United States. If there is an issue with fraud or unclaimed packages, send the item by UPS, FEDEX, or Purolator! They are have safety and insurance mechanisms to ensure that protects both the seller and consumer!

If it is a question about duties, let the Canadian consumer worry about that issue! It is very improbable that any of us that would purchase this product, would refuse to accept the product as a result of high duty or levies thus resulting in a chargeback!

It is now August 10th 2012 and we only have two more weeks before we no longer will be given the option to preorder the Wizard Edition of the game.

It should be noted that alot of us, myself included, have supported Namco when they produced games in the late 70s, 80s, and 90s. It would be nice if this time Namco Bandai would reconsider their position and allow this game to ship to Canada.

You listen to me and you listen good.

We don't want a bunch of BS and false platitudes.
"Exploring options" is flat out just not good enough.

We are the people that make your products a success and we deserve better than a bunch of vague promises that are actually lies.

Fix this NB, now. We're not asking.

Because if you don't, it's going to affect *all* of your business in Canada in the future.

From the looks of things, it seems to be a combination of laziness and prejudice.

Ahoy my fellow Canadians! I sense a bit of frustration in your words. The best method of engagement is to embrace positive open dialogue. It is my understanding that Carlson Choi is the current Head of Marketing and Vice President at Namco Bandai Games. he served in this position since June 2010 and previously was the Director of Digital and Interactive Marketing with Activision Blizzard.

There were previous directors who served in this position. Among those directors, there was one who served as a director of marketing with Capcom. Surely, one of these directors should have considered that there is a market just North of the border? This issue becomes even more troubling when we consider that some of these Marketing Directors served on (software) corporations which have no problem shipping items to Canada.

Something else to conside is the current exchange rate: the Canadian dollar has been for the most part at parity with the U.S. dollar for more than 2 years. Again, there should be no fear in shipping this item to Canada. There are both small and medium enterprises that do so. And I see no reason Namco Bandai cannot allow Canadian consumers to purchase items from the United States.

We are halfway through August and still no update? At this point, hoping for a Canadian release looks like a lost cause.

It is unacceptable that Canada is still shut out of this NORTH AMERICAN release.

Just terrible, Namco.

Yep.

As much as I want the game, I'd rather not have it than just settle for the crap version while everyone else gets the good one.

**** Namco!

They can ban now, and I don't care. I'm not coming back anyway
The reason I joined this site was to voice my frustrations about us Canadians being subjected to this unfair treatment.

I will still play your games, though (albeit used)

Pretty much this.

I sent a PM to Filthie Rich about the fact he was flaunting the Special Edition on the boards, yet all the while Canada is unable to get it.

I told him it was *unacceptable* and it needs to be fixed.

That was two days ago and no response because Filthie Rich is too much of a goddamn coward (Like the rest of NB) to actually do *anything* that is remotely constructive about the situation. Or even address it in any way that is anything other than "We're looking into it! We promise!"

They just don't care, and it is goddamn insulting.
