NAMCO BANDAI Board Rules

Please read before posting. The NAMCO BANDAI Nation Forum rules are as follows:

1. Be nice to your fellow board members! Threats or harassment are not tolerated on any of NAMCO BANDAI's boards.
• While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts.
• Debates are great - just remember that you are arguing a point, do not take it personally and do not attack the person who said it. Attack the statements instead!
• If you have a beef with someone else on the boards, private message (PM) an administrator/moderator, or PM the person you have a problem with.
• Please be kind and respect the rights of others. We want everyone to feel comfortable here!

2. No excessive cursing. Using any type of spacing, symbols (@!*), “text speak” (1337, etc) or intentional misspellings to get around the censors is prohibited and repeated offenses is cause for a warning or ban. Any sort of sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racial, religious, ethnically offensive language or overt harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated.

3. No spamming. We all get derailed sometimes, but please do your best to stay on topic. If we feel it is necessary, we will delete posts, move posts, lock threads or split topics. You may not conduct surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise) or use the boards for commercial communications or to promote, advertise, or solicit any product or services.

4. No inappropriate content. Please don't link to inappropriate sites or post inappropriate content. Make sure that the posted links are clean. Members are not allowed to post links to anything that is considered “not safe for work” (pornography, profane, or illegal material) or anything that is a violation of copyright (MP3s, downloadable movies, or game ROMs) or any other local, state or federal laws.

5. No illegal activity. No discussion of pirating or hacking (illegal roms, mod chips, ISOs, warez, etc). This includes links to pages that have it or links to free downloads, etc. These threads will be deleted and depending on the circumstance we may issue a warning. In extreme cases we may alert the authorities.

6. No disruptive behavior. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, etc. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. Additionally, other disruptive behaviors such as use of excessive SHOUTING (all caps) in an attempt to disturb others, or continuous posting of repetitive text are prohibited.

7. Respect the privacy of others. You may not harvest (in an automated manner or otherwise) or otherwise collect personal information about other users, including e-mail addresses or use such information to send unsolicited e-mails. You may not attempt to get passwords, account information, or other private information from any other user on the forums.

8. Only one username/account per user. Multiple usernames for one user is not permitted. Any character accounts (duplicate accounts pretending to be another person) or accounts impersonating a NAMCO BANDAI representative will be promptly deleted. If you wish to change your username, please send a request to a moderator through private message.

9. Remedies for Inappropriate Behavior. Members who do not follow the rules may be warned, suspended or permanently banned pursuant to the banning guidelines. Please respect the moderators and administrators as well as all NAMCO BANDAI employees. Any insults, threats, or harassment of moderators, administrators, or employees of NAMCO BANDAI Games will not be tolerated. Do not attempt to impersonate any moderator or NAMCO BANDAI employee. NAMCO BANDAI reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.

10. All decisions regarding issuing of warning or banning (whether temporary or permanent) and interpretation of these rules are in the sole and final discretion of NAMCO BANDAI. Despite any stated procedures, if in the opinion of NAMCO BANDAI, any violation of these rules is particularly egregious, serious, or repetitive NAMCO BANDAI reserves the right to permanently ban any user at any time without warning.
