Ok so like I was saying earlier:

Campaign structure and mission paths isn't something that necessarily requires a great deal of consideration, but it is neat when it does get it. Ace Combat 3 (japanese) may have gone a bit overboard with all of the branches and endings, but the alternate missions in AC5 were a good choice. It would be nice though to have the mission choice require some special action a la star fox 64, rather than a YES/NO question. Ace Combat X also had the very fun concept of different mission parameters depending on the order you completed missions that were grouped together. ACX implemented that pretty well, and though something as complex as that wouldn't be very necessary, I would like to see it influence the next AC game a little.

online multiplayer. so i can keep playing and not have to do the same single player mission again and again and again...

I voted dogfighting. Project Aces please take note: I play Ace combat games for air-to-air combat. Blowing up a million ground targets is BORING! I felt like AC6 had so much potential, but only lived up to it for the briefest of moments. The end of mission 12 was awesome; more enemy planes than I could count and fierce air-to-air combat. I want a whole game that plays like that. The rest of AC6 was such a letdown for me and it was such a shame because all the ingredients for a great game were there except for an abundance of dogfighting. The graphics are awesome, the engine is awesome, it can handle tons of bogeys without a hitch in framerate. I really hope you read this, PLEASE, give me more dogfighting/air-to-air combat instead of a game that is mostly ground targets!

I like how in 4,5 and zero, each mission had its own sort of feel, the environment, music, level of cloud coverage, time of day, weather, etc was always different, I can't stress how important this is. It was really annoying how in all but 3-4 missions, it was a clear day, over fairly similar terain. I always liked how in 4-zero there were some missions that were at night, in snow, where it was raining, etc. That sort of thing makes a huge difference for me, and I even if not everyone notices it, they notice when its NOT there...

Also another mission like the glatisant one in zero would be cool, flying through 50 million aa guns is hard/fun/reminds me of watching video of AA guns shooting blindly at american planes during desert storm...

Oh, and please, give us a better storyline, only follow a few characters, or at least relate them to eachother better. The guys robbing the bank in 6 was farfetched, and kinda stupid/pointless, the story would've gone on fine without them.

as much as some people might not like the soap-opera esque plots of 5 and zero, when they are done right, they work. Also, if your going to kill off a character (see:shamrocks wife/daughter), develop them and make us care that they died, chopper and PJ's deaths were both pulled off well.

oh, and the operation system may have been good on paper, but it KILLED any variety in the missions. Each mission had the same paths, and most people picked the ones that they enjoyed most and/or were easiest almost every time (for me I would do ESM+airstrip because of the value of having both usable)

Also MORE PLANES, and none of this dlc paintjob upgraded plane crap.

that said, multiplayer is awesome, though altering the maps might be nice, again, what I said in the first paragraph, make them feel different...

and PLEASE can we have it on the ps3 as well as the 360. i mean now that the ps3 slim is selling so well in japan, theres no reason for it to be excluded. i must admit i will be surprised if its a 360 exclusive again...considering ac6 is the lowest selling AC game made for a console (im reasonably sure of that..4, 5 definately did a LOT better).

i would like to see some speed. but real speed. ask the team to play wipeout and burnout games THEN begin putting some speed in the game.

SEE my other post on ideas.
Flying and the way the scenery ;especially at night in AC4; seems so real.
The explosions should be bigger and there should be more collateral damage; an instance when in AC5 I am dive bombing a battleship at high speed and releasing one bomb; it should sink it due to the inertia. 1 bomb at 1000 lbs dropped from 3000 feet at a velocity of just under the speed of sound 500 mph should break a battleship in half. That is why they are obsolete in the modern navy; a battleship needs extensive air cover, a cws, anti-air missiles and speed to avoid just such an attack. Sitting in a river is being a sitting duck. You know where it is going and you know it cannot turn around. I know all my collegues saw that ship and all thought : LOOKIE HERE; fat target. Remember Pearl Harbor?
I have a suggestion. When a bomb is dropped and you hear a military unit down there get hammered; it would be funny as heck if you add funny dialogue such as " he sank my battleship or they got the latrine or anyone seen my tank?:cool:
