No, Despite the good arguement. you don't mix apples w/oranges. Sure they're both fruits. But that's something you can't mix.

And about the similar styles, idk if you're aware. But thay do base the characters off of ACTUAL fighting styles that exist in the world.

Soo.....nah....not a good idea. Now, Samurai Showdown, vs. Soul Calibur. THAT.....would be interesting indeed

If SS and SC are fighting wouldn't the game be bloody because Samurai showdown edge of destiny has blood and has it where you can chop hands and heads off and other stuff.

Well Heihachi in SC2 made no sense, but it was still fun. In that sense Tekken vs Soul Calibur could work.

Definately NOT! That would ruin the whole spirit of Soul Calibur! Star Wars was kinda sketchy but Namco got it to make sense. Tekken is its own story line without any interuption of anyother "guest stars". I wouldnt ever play SC again if that happend.

It would be a spin-off, so don't worry. I wouldn't like to see those games together for more than one game though...

I think both games won't have effect on the regular series for both games since it has nothing to do with them. I see why not it should work. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try though. Anything is possible.

As for coming up with a storyline for the series colliding and the game play.....idk?
These people are smart , so they can do anything. I have faith in them.

If these two games merged into an official new series I'd sent a priest to Japan to exorcise all the bad spirits that would have possesed the whole Namco-Bandai company. (People AND Equipment AND Partners AND Building).
