It doesn't affect gameplay whatsoever and it just seems pointless. You guys took the time to make a really good creation system and completely ruin it with this feature. At least in SC4 it had a point, which was to make you take more damage in certain areas. In SCV all it does is ruin your created characters completely. Sure standard costumed characters don't get it that bad but still, pointless as nothing is changed damage wise. Even if it did affect damage dealt it is still done terribly, with clothing and armor just disappearing entirely.
I know im not the only one who is annoyed by it as i've seen posts about it on forums. But what i would say is for people who hate it like i do just try to post about it whenever you can, the developers should know it's an awfully executed feature. I doubt this, but it is possible for it to be removed from the game with patches or something like that. I don't expect this, but that doesn't stop me from putting my opinion on it out there.
Summed up, it just doesn't make sense. I truly don't understand why they would of put it in without the intention of just ruining created characters. So basically character creation in SCV allows you to be a cos-player dressing up in plastic armor or wearing fake accessories. You can't actually make a knight, some hybrid, or some type of demon. What you can do is create an anime cos-player who bought a cheap costume off of ebay.
