What's wrong with the Tekken 6 servers?!

So my friend and I are seriously getting frustrated here. It's my first time playing T6 in a year since my last copy broke and when I was playing back then, the servers rarely lost connection. However now that I'm back, and now that I've got a friend into the game also, we've been having serious connection issues. 8 out of 10 games will lose sync and it's really throwing my friend off of the game.

Has anybody else been having server problems too? What's going on????
