Since One Piece: Pirate Warriors has been confirmed for North America as a Digital-only game, I might as well ask: will it feature an english dub? Because it's rumored that Warriors Orochi 3 was Digital only simply because Sony requires English dubs for retail releases, and that game happens to only feature Japanese audio. I'm not sure if this is the case, as well (though that's assuming the rumor is true, of course).

As far as I can say to you. I'm just happy One Piece is coming to America. Though I already got the idea that W-omega force was going to get it here somehow. And Sony most likely didn't care much anyway. So I had no real doubt in my mind Pirate Warriors would come here. Tons of people keep saying it will only be Digital, but that doesn't matter to me much. I will just get a psn card like I always do, I don't need a credit card or anything. I went to see the video Bandai put up, and a lot of people were whinning about it. I always see tons of people keep going on about online play and stuff... What wrong with buying a game online? Sure when I got my own copy of One Piece Unlimited Adventure I prayed to it. But, its coming here now, One Piece Pirate warriors, the story all fans know up intill right now, maybe even longer. And I'm just happy that its comming. And as to your question on voices. Funimation could dub this, but if its going Digital I'm guessing it may not be dubed. I may be wrong on this though, Funimation could still be dubing it. Either way I could care less myself, but I know some people care. I like the japanese voices better, and I'm fine with a sub version of the game. I would like it more really. But I'm guessing if Funimation is going to dub it, they will have a choice to hear in Japanese or dub, like Naruto games now a days. I would say Funimation dubing it though is very likely, they may take this as a time to jump start their own dubing of the anime, since they had stopped, even though they could make more episodes now. But still, if its about seeing if it can sell, I would buy it Digital either way if its there first. Bandai and Temco could just be seeing if it will sell, if it does well maybe then it will get a dub and a box cover and such like over in Japan. Maybe even let out the box set with the gold ps3 with Luffy on it and the map of the grandline also on it... But America isn't that lucky.
Sorry I cannot clear more things up for you. But like I said, I new this game would come here, even if it may leave right away if it doesn't sell well, whcih I think it will sell fine.
But point being, This whole forum here, I know started with some other guy and all, but I'm just protesting here now, to get more One Piece games here. Like the ones for the Wii, and now 3DS, even the ones for DS also. Nintendo keeps those away from us. I'm still not sure if its just them, but Bandai Namco here never says what they due, never ask people if they want One Piece over here.
I thank Sony, W-Omega Force, for getting this over to America, if Bandai had something to do with it, other then trade mark a title, I wish they would tell some of the people here. So the fans new maybe they do care.
Other then that, all I can say, is, fight for more One Piece, if its what the fans want, don't let Pirate Warriors be like Unlimited Adventure and Grand Battle (1 and 2). Buy the game, tell Bandai Namco about all these One Piece fans in America. If people want it, you know, and show it, maybe Bandai will do something about it... Like sell Wii games and such, and act like their new even though they were made a few years ago. At least we will still then get the games. At least the two games on the 3DS would be nice.
