Ranking Problems On RR7?

Well over the last 2 days I and a few others have noticed on RR7 that when you obtain CR it no longer affects your RR ranking. Is there any reason for this? Is this going to remain permanent or is it just a glitch/bug which is currently being worked on?

Once your CR ranking gets near the top 100, then it will start to affect your overall RR ranking... It also depends on your other rankings as well.

There is a formula that has been calculated and I can verify works:

RP = FP + OBP * 0.03 + CR * 0.00015

I've been checking my rankings since learning this, and it has been perfectly correct. However, in the last few days I've noticed my ranking has been pretty static, despite upping my CR considerably. So, I checked, and rechecked, and rechecked after rerunning SE25. The rankings never changed. By this formula, I should be around 400 in the ranking, but I'm stuck around 460.

There's definitely a problem here somewhere, hope it gets sorted soon.

My RP does not work when calculated through this formula, It must be only telling part of the story.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

That's not completely correct. Im in the top 600 for CR ranking but even before then CR affecting my RR ranking. Im saying that if you look at your RR points, then run an event and get 360,000 CR, then check your RR points again, they don't move AT ALL This is definately a problem

FP is the most influential to RP Then OBP then CR

Once you get close to top 300, only FP will pull you up the fastest!

My 999,999,999CR only pulled me to 130 place 4 months ago under geogeo3.

Getting 100,000FP got me in the top5 3 months ago under geogeo4.

Some racers with lower CR,FP and high OBP were in the top 5 before the FP trick/cheat came into play...

I see what you're saying Geo, but the point is that there is a real problem. CR is not being recalculated at all. I've added 10 million CR recently and my RP has not changed apart from when I gain FP online. I'm checking the ranking points and this is definitely a problem with CR.

Just a thought Demon: can you calculate back from your RP and see what your CR is calculating from. Mine is 99,993,333. Seems a bit of freaky number to stop at. Is your's similar?

If CR is near the top 100, say...rank 150 it will most likely affect your ranking, but like I said... It depends on what your FP,OBP and overall RR ranking is.

Let me give an example:

You run Special Event 25, with 2X Prize Money Plugin, you gain 400,000 CR. By the formula (that has been checked and is known to be correct), this translates into 60 Ridge Racer Ranking Points. However, check your stats before the event and then again after, and your Ridge Racer Ranking Points have not changed.

The ranking position is not the issue, it's the Ranking Points that are not increasing when they should.
